The Savvy, Sound and Safe Home Loan Program (SSSHLP) targets deserving wage earners whom the lending industry will typically turn down or charge excessive fees. Counselors work one-on-one wtih clients to identify products best suited to each indivudal's needs as well as provide education and support throughout the term of the loan.
The Los Angeles Teachers Mortgage Assistance Program (LATMAP) is a one-stop information and referral resource that streamliens the home buying process for all LAUSD and school employees. The program administers homeownership education workshops and pre-qualification interviews.
